For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7
I have been a diabetic for about 25 years. I have a condition of the eyes called retinopathy, which is caused by diabetes. When my sugar is out of control there is a fluid buildup behind my eyes. I receive injections to help maintain this condition so that I do not go blind. I test my sugars twice daily and take oral medications to keep things under control. One Sunday night around the beginning of November 2019, Pastor Lang was preaching on getting a miracle. As I went forward to the altar, I decided to take God at His word. I stood still and my spirit cried out to the Lord, “my eyes Lord, oh my eyes!” Pastor Lang came over and stood in front of me. I never spoke a word, and within a couple of seconds he laid his hands on my eyes and prayed.
I knew I had received a healing that night because my vision was a lot clearer. Approximately two weeks later, I went to the doctor and he confirmed that the fluid was all gone. He said there was a bit of activity in my right eye, so I am still receiving an injection in this eye. I believe God will heal my eyes completely. I could read the eye chart one line further than I had before! I praise God for His healing power in my life! Keep holding on for your healing even if you do not see it right away, sometimes healing is immediate and sometimes it’s a process, but our God heals! We need to walk by faith, not by sight!
